INGREDIENTS:
Mint-1 Bunch
Urad dal-1 tb spn
Green Chilli-4 or 5
Ginger-a small piece
Garlic-10 cloves
Tomato - 1
Onion - 1
coconut - 2 Small pieces
Tamarind, Asafoetida, Oil - As required
PREPARATION :
1. Pour oil in a pan, Add Urad dal and fry till it becomes golden brown.
2. Add Ginger, Garlic, Green Chilli, Onion and fry them.
3. Add Tomato, Tamarind and Coconut and fry them.
4. Now add Mint leaves to it and fry them.
5. Allow them to cool them for sometime and then transfer them to a mixer grinder.
6. Then add salt and asafoetida and grind them coarsely.
7. Transfer the chutney to a bowl and serve it with idli, dosa.
