Lady's Finger Curry


INGREDIENTS :
Ladies finger - 250gms
Onion - 2
Tomatoes - 3
Chilli powder (sambar powder)
Salt as needed
Coconut - half small coconut
Coriander leaves

TO TEMPER :
Oil - 5tbspn
Mustard seeds - 1/4tspn
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4tspn
Cumin seeds - 1/4tspn
Fennel seeds - 1/4tspn
Urad dal - 1/4tspn
Curry leaves - 1sprig

PREPARATION :
1. In a pan pour oil & temper the items given above to temper.
2. Then add onions and fry them to a golden brown colour, then add chopped ladies finger & fry them till it becomes non sticky, then add chilli powder, salt and saute it till the raw smell goes.


3. Now add the chopped tomatoes and saute it. Then add water and allow it to boil.
4. In the mean time, grind the coconut to a fine paste and keep aside.


5. Once the ladies finger is cooked, add the ground coconut and boil it in low flame for 5 minutes. Then transfer it to a bowl and add chopped coriander leaves. Serve it hot.
6. Its tastes good with rice.
