Spicy tomato chutney


INGREDIENTS :
Big Onion - 3
Tomato - 5
Red chilli - 7 or 8
Garlic - 10 cloves
Ginger - 1 small piece
Coriander seeds - 1tbspn
Salt as needed

TO TEMPER :
Oil or ghee - 2tbspn
Mustard seeds - 1tspn
Urad dal - 2tspn
Curry leaves - one sprig

PREPARATION :
In a pan pour oil add coriander seeds, red chilli & fry them. Then add onions, garlic, sliced ginger & saute it until the raw smell goes.
Then add tomatoes and saute it. Allow it to cool.
Then put all of them into a mixer grinder, add salt and grind them. Now transfer it to a bowl.
Then in a pan temper mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves & pour it to the chutney. Serve it with idli or dosa.
